A scheme to provide new affordable homes and community centre on the York Way Estate for the City of London Corporation (City Corporation), has been granted unanimous planning approval by Islington Council.

The York Way Estate was identified by the City Corporation to deliver more social housing for local people. Grant funding from the Greater London Authority has been secured to support 91 additional social homes on the estate. Islington Council have received nomination rights on half of all news homes.

The Park Plaza London Waterloo by Carlson Rezidor group has just opened its doors in the former Central Office of Information. With a capacity of 497 rooms, this is the most important opening in London in 2017. Located near Waterloo Station in South Bank, it has a dining room, a bar, a café, a spa, a fitness room with swimming pool and six meeting rooms.

The 125-year lease of the historic building on Regent Street was bought by Georgi and Alfred Akirov for £90m at the end of 2008 when it was being run as a conference and banqueting venue by Starwood Hotels and Resorts.

David Chipperfield Architects and Donald Insall Associates were brought in to restore the building to its former glory and turn it into a luxury hotel and spa with two restaurants - The Grill Room and The Domino Room; bars - The Bar and Ten Room Lounge and the Café Royal Café. The hotel will also offer a members' club.

This site is located in 2-14 Telford Road & 246-248 Ladbroke Grove London W10 5SH London Brough of Kensington and Chealsea. Proposed scheme for the site consist of ground floor commercial units, 

Plantroom, sub-station, cycle store and bin stores. Level 1 to level 4 are 19 residential unites accessed via external access decks. Client instruction is to develop stage 1-3a design with a view to 

submit Planning application by December 2024.

The site is located within London Borough of Hackney on a plot between New North Road and East Road, North of Old Street Roundabout. The site sits within a densely populated residential district of Hoxton, whilst also being on the edge of Clerkenwells business district.   

Following the completion of an intrusive survey of the external envelope in December 2020, undertaken by Tenos, several façade defects were identified with the existing cladding systems and their installation.  The buildings sit very close to the 18m threshold and are 7 stories high. The existing cladding installation has been identified as being noncompliant and some elements no 

longer meet the requirements for buildings over 11m of for a Higher Risk Building (HRB) under the current regulations.

We are engaged in the redevelopment of 611 Kings Road, Fulham, delivering a high-quality mixed-use scheme that integrates commercial space at ground level with residential units above. Our role encompasses strategic design coordination Building Services and sustainability, planning input, and technical delivery in collaboration with Dowen Farmer Architects. The project responds sensitively to its historic and emerging urban context, including the Moore Park Conservation Area, and features a carefully articulated massing strategy, active frontages, and landscaped amenity spaces. This development exemplifies our commitment to sustainable, context-driven design and urban regeneration.

New project by Hill that is going through the planning process in Cottenham, Cambridge. This is 34 residential units which are affordable, mixed tenure situated along Histon Road. At this stage the scheme has been granted planning permission and has gone back in for full plans approval.

Stanton House is a residential redevelopment project in Cambridge, transforming a vacant site into approximately 30 affordable homes. The scheme supports a detailed planning application targeted for submission in 2026. ABUK Group was appointed to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) consultancy services to support the planning stage, delivering RIBA Stages 1 and 2 design input. 

ABUK Group was appointed by Rund on behalf of Wandle Housing Association to undertake a high level sustainability and net zero carbon review for Wandsworth Mills, a residential led mixed use development in London. The scheme comprises 74 affordable residential units alongside ground floor commercial spaces, forming part of a wider regeneration by Berkeley St George.
